Hi, I'm Amey Bhandari

Hi, I'm Amey, a junior studying Computer Science @ Purdue University. I'm interested in Computer Graphics, and have been researching techniques to optimize battery usage in VR headsets and more efficient ways of representing 3D scenes using 3D Gaussian Splatting.
I also enjoy working on software projects outside of graphics with clubs and on my own.

I've enjoyed drawing since I was a kid, especially animals. I started doodling more consistently around June 2024 as a way to capture moments and show my appreciation for the people around me. Most of the doodles end up as little gifts. I still struggle with drawing from imagination, so most of my doodles are heavily based on references I find online. I've been getting better, though, and I'd eventually love to draw a comic of my own. [art]
